ITINERARY

 DAY 1 Your Home country - Beirut     (-/-/D)

On the start of your journey, you will leave your home country and travel to Beirut in Lebanon.  At arrival you will be met by our representative for a full explanatory session of you tour highlights.  Time at disposal for personal activity and relax.

Sightseeing of the capital city of Lebanon (Beirut): Place de l'Etoile, the Parliament, Al-Omari Mosque, Al Amin Mosque, St. George Cathedral, Martyrs Square, the Corniche Boulevard,  Pigeons Rock and the  National Museum.  Dinner and Overnight.

Day 2    Baalbek – Ksara- Zahle- Anjar    (B/-/D)
After breakfast, drive to Baalbek and visit the metropolis known for its excellent history and to be the best conserved Roman Archeological site in the Orient .  Visit our Lady of Bechwat. Back to Zahle and Visit of the Ksara winery , Free time in Zahle. Proceed to Anjar , the Omayyad site, and visit before the sunset . Drive back to Beirut to your hotel .  Dinner and Overnight. 

Day 3   Bcharre - Qadisha     (B/-/D)
Drive to the north of the country, to the region of famous Lebanese Cedar forests, visit the village of Bcharre (Becharreh) and to the holy valley Qadisha. Qadisha Holy Valley, Mass at Saydet Qannoubine , Sightseeing of the Maronite Monastery of St. Anthony Qozhaya and to the Museum of Gibran the author of “The Prophet”. Proceed to visit the birth place of the Saint of Lebanon Charbel. Back to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 4    Sidon - Tyr    (B/-/D)  
Drive to the south of the country along the coastline of Mediterranean Sea, Sightseeing of Sidon (the ruins of crusaders castle, Khan El-Franj, Caravanserai, a visit at the museum of soap), Visit the Lady of Maghdoucheh, then proceed to Tyr and visit of the two historic sites. (The hippodrome and the maritime site) . Visit of Cana .
Back to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day  5  Dog River - Jeita Grotto - Faqra - Harissa  (B/-/D)
Start your day with the visit of the inscriptions at the Dog River , then proceed to see the Jeita Grotto, its upper and lower galleries. Drive to Faqra & sightseeing of the ruins of Greek and Roman temples (columns, altars, tombs) and spectacular Jisr al-Hajar (Stone Bridge)
Drive to Harissa & sightseeing of the Sanctuary of the Holy Mary., then one way by cable car from harissa hills to Jounieh and Back to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day  6  Batroun - Byblos   (B/-/D)
Visit the Monastery of St. Maron-Annaya, the place of burial of St. Charbel Makhlouf
Drive to Batroun & sightseeing of its picturesque harbor, the remains of the Phoenician City Walls, the Greek-Catholic and Roman-Catholic churches, a walk along narrow streets of the Old Town and the Church of St. Stephen. Proceed to Byblos & sightseeing of the historical harbor, visit the Castle, the obelisk temples and the Roman miniature amphitheater. Back to your hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day  7  Beiteddine - Deir El-Qamar    02.05.2015 (B/-/D)
Drive to the region of the Chouf (Lebanese Mountains), Sightseeing of the Beiteddine Palace
Drive to Deir El-Qamar, a walk around the picturesque square. In the evening Farewell dinner, and rest before the journey and the night transfer to the airport.

Day 8    Beirut – Your home country

Lebanese breakfast at the hotel, Transfer to the airport for homeward flight. The tour ends.
